August 2010

One of his new favorite activities is baking with Momma.
Loving the candy and big trucks at his first parade.

His great football friends came to play in the sandbox.

After we rocked the Bobcat Classic 5k

One of the other coach's wives Laura who pulled me along during the race.

Fishing :)

Hyalite Trip

Hyalite Canyon is about a 30 minute drive from our house. My dear friend Kelli came to visit over the 4th of July weekend so we just had to take her up and show her the sights. The weather was awful (in the upper 40s) but we had a great time seeing the falls and fishing in the resevoir.

The Sandbox

I am a little behind on our posts. Father's Day weekend Jamie decided it was time to build Cole a sandbox. He was starting to get bored in the backyard and absolutely loved when we went to a friend's house and they had one. Jamie doesn't mess around when he builds so of course Cole got the deluxe edition. He absolutely loves it and we spend many hours outdoors in the evenings now watching him dig :)

Helping Dad build the cover to keep the cats out.

Observing the construction.

Ready to help with his Carharts and stay hydrated with his Vitamin Water

Totally digging it and the cool turtle pool even fits inside!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went for a gorgeous hike on Memorial Day on what is called the Drinking Horse Trail. First hike of the year since the weather has been so cruddy so we were all itching to get out!

At the top with mama

A little bit unsure about being outside of the backpack!

We saw some people with goats along the way. Yes, goats as pets. Only in Montana!!

The dinosaur park is one of our new favorite places. We can now walk there since they have finished paving the backroads in our subdivision and we get to avoid the busy streets. Cole seems to enjoy it a ton and we all love to be outside!!

First time almost all by himself!

Such determination on his face :)

Holy cow can you tell they are related....
